Whether you're a tea lover, an art buff, an admirer of historic buildings or a garden fanatic, you'll find much to enchant you at the Olde English Garden Shoppe. Blending whimsey with practicality, the store offers a refreshing mix of garden furniture, textiles, lighting, specialty food items, and sculpture. A wide selection of the finest British teas from Taylors of Harrogate and Whittard of Chelsea are now available. The work of local artists and architectural elements enhance the walls. Versatile pieces from the Mary Carol Home Collection are now available. Also on display are unique gift items, fragrant Trapp candles, statuary, and inspiring books for cooking and gardening. A bright, red telephone booth from England is used to display a selection of jewelry and gift items.

Located in two 1908 Victorian commercial storefronts, owners Ginger and Jim Nelson's store reveals a historic fabric rich in detail. "I particularly love greenmen as a decorating element," says Ginger of the leaf-faced art style gleaned from cathedrals in Europe. The store boasts an old tin ceiling with greenman relief (featured right) and Ginger has developed the theme throughout the store. As popular today as in the early centuries, the style is available at the Olde English Garden Shoppe in statuary, paintings and jewelry.

Be seated in the garden, a serene habitat for blossoms, birds, butterflies and you! The Koi fish pool in the garden is watched over by two solid brass crane fountains. Tucked behind the store, the Nelson's urban "secret garden" shows you that you can create a peaceful haven anywhere.
